Great Friends

Today Chris started his first day on the force. What a man!!! He is working from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am. Good thing I am not scared of the dark ): I do have my dogs to protect me though. So, I do have to give a shout out to my wonderful supportive friend Tami May. You guys are not going to believe what she did for me. She sent me a little package with a card, and a childrens book about adoption the title is "Tell Me About the Night I was Born". As soon as I read it I bawled. What an amazing and thoughtful gift. It will be perfect to read to our child when we get her. For all of you out there who are adopting this book is perfect.

nice job on fixing your picture! I look forward to hearing about what's going on with you guys on a more regular basis.
Dang- Tami beat me to the punch. I was going to send some precious baby shoes. Still will...

You two will be such wonderful parents! And no little girl could ask for better looking brothers! Since the baby booties and adoption book are covered, I suppose I'll have to send a basic recipe/cook book as you cannot serve Flips and nacho cheese sauce as a main dish regularly (but boy was that delicious!). I am looking forward to following your journey to parenthood on your blog. And congratulations on graduating and the manly man job, Chris!

Wow! I am very impressed (and a little shocked) at your blogging skills!
This is such a wonderful experience that you, Chris, and your new daughter-to-be are just beginning. I can't wait to hear about it all along the way. I also can't wait to throw you a shower!

AND, congrats to Chris! Was he not MADE for that uniform? I think that he has been secretely wearing it his whole life....
